History: The Winged Bull tapestry design is adapted from glazed mud bricks that decorated the palace of King Nebuchadnezzar II at Darius (509 BC) in Babylon, Persia (Iran). The walls and processional route were covered in glazed bricks depicting the procession of animals with the Winged Bull depicting the weather God Adad.
